Doomgiver-class Military Transport

Although claimed to have drawn its design from the Executor-class Star Dreadnaught, the Doomgiver has nothing in common with the larger ship. This six-engined vessel features a unique design carrying 100 drop pods on its ventral side in six rows. Each of these pods are 21 m in diameter and 35 m high, divided into four sections. The largest section covering 2/5ths of the bottom is reserved for 4 AT-ST walkers. The next section, 1/5th of the size, holds 160 troopers. Above these are the storage compartment and the command deck. The walker and trooper bays have four doors each which acts as landing bridges.

These pods are dropped from orbit, reaches their targets very quickly, and break for landing. They then act as self-contained fortresses which can fully support and guide its troops. They are also heavily armoured and has a set of 4 laser cannons for defence. The pods are unable to return to orbit, but the Doomgiver's shuttles can tractor-beam them back to the ship for reload.
