Sometimes classified as an MC85 though this is an inoffical model number. It was referred to
as a "headquarters frigate" at the Battle of Endor, which is probably rebel misinformation.
A more fitting name may be Independence-class, but this designation have never been confirmed.
For such a large command ship, remarkably little is known of the type. Some estimates claim a
mere 1,800 metres lenght, but this is clearly far too little. It is also belived that there
was only one Home One-class cruiser, but three can be identified present at the Battle of
Endor. For a ship this large it is however severely undergunned, which is probably why the
Home One was abandoned with the advent of the MC90. It has been rumoured that this was the
first converted Calamarian ship, and they were unable to obtain enough weapons for it (much
like the undergunned MC40), and they saw too much combat to be refitted later. It has three
hangars with a total 20 subsections which holds ten squadrons.
