Lusankya

Lusankya, the second of the Executor-class command ships, was first used as a secret underground prison. It broke free from Coruscant under the command of Director Ysanne Isard. After a long campaign against the New Republic, the ship surrendered at the Battle of Thyferra and was captured. The NR spent years to refit the vessel beyond design specs, improving the armour and fitting it with the latest in shields and weapons. The Lusankya is the first Executor-class refitted with backup shield generators, and the extra bridge shield generator that all ESDs built after the Battle of Endor has was added. The prison cells were removed and science labs and biocontainment areas were fitted instead. Years later, the Lusankya was targeted for scrapping by NR politicians. This was the time when the NIF made a bold raid on the Yaga Minor shipyards and against all odds managed to capture the mighty vessel. All information in the labs were collected, and they were removed in favour of troop compartments, once again making the vessel the thorn in the side of the New Republic it was always meant to be. The Lusankya is the flagship of the Third Fleet. For two years in NIF service, it carried the name Conquest.
