Warrior-class Corvette

The Warrior was part of the "New Class" standardization project in the New Republic. The Warrior-class was, like other New Class ships based on a proven design, in this case the Agave-class picket ship (although curiously, they don't seem to be even remotely alike). Their primary mission profile was to be small, fast raiders capable of taking on heavy cruisers. It is a heavily armed ship, even more so than the capable DP20-class, and it is an excellent anti-fighter platform as well. The Warrior proved its worth to the NR during the Black Fleet Crisis.

Uncertain New Republic elements even claim that the Warrior's concussion missiles can cripple a Star Destroyer, a curious statement at best given that no such event has ever been recorded. Furthermore, while the Warrior is a very fast and capable gunship, its combat record against Yevethan thrustships suggests that the bolstered statement that it can take on heavy cruisers is nothing short of ludicrous.
