NIF d20 Modern Campaign

I've been discussing the possibility of doing a d20 Modern (modern D&D) with a number of other members, and everything looks promising. The setting and such will be posted on here, while the actual dice-rolls and such will be played out on the #nnif room. If anybody would like the join just PM and we'll work something out; you'll probably need to find your own copy of the d20 Modern Player's Handbook to play, but pdf files are available online.

Setting: The year was 1965. Twenty years after the fall of the Third Reich, the USSR and the USA have been arguing furiously over the wall dividing East and West Berlin. Rather than settle matters diplomatically, the USSR invaded the northern tip of Alaska, defying rulings from the United Nations that they do not respond aggressively. Their actions have sparked a war between the former Allied nations and the allies of the USSR. The current year is 1969, four years into the Hot War. The two major fronts are along the Berlin Wall and the forests of Alaska. However, this is of little concern to MI-13, our secret organization (hopeful to remain secret as long as no one screws up) at least 12 ranks higher than our President in levels of national security. As members of MI-13, we are determined to end the Soviet threat as soon as possible. We have the most advanced technology on the planet, and we will use it to our advantage. With your skills and talents, we are sure we will win this war, and prevent many more in the future.

... Isn't MI-5 in charge of safekeeping the lives of people within the UK? MI-6 is the international branch (the same agency Bond works for)?

Also, I shake my fist at thee because I've been hardcore watching the MI-5 series on the BBC lately... well, actually, it's on PBS, but hey... it's there, and it's good!
